(After a number of years off the air after problems with hackers - we are back.)
The Cheshire Surnames Directory is a list of Cheshire SURNAMES being researched by family historians and is totally free and open to absolutely anyone.
The directory is completely separate from any similar services offered by any family history societies, as such it does not share user ids or password with any other site.
Please note that this is NOT a research service, and only the contributors listed can supply information about individual names.
Any entries that are believed to be a misuse of the facility will be deleted by the administrator and the posters email address barred from further updates to the site.
REGISTRATION - You can register yourself directly on the site but you first need to contact me for a passphrase. Please use the Contact Me option on the Main Menu.
